Hello, my name is Hailey and I am a 21-year-old senior at Quinnipiac University expected to graduate May 2019. Next fall I will be attending Northeastern University to pursue an accelerated nursing career. I am interested specifically in pediatrics but also have an interest in gerontology. I am a Certified Nursing assistant and have had nursing home experience. I also care for my two older grandparents, my grandmother has Alzheimer and needs a lot of care. I enjoy working with the elderly and taking the extra time to make sure they feel cared for and not belittled for needing the help. I like to make sure they feel they are being treated like a person, not an object.
