I'd describe my personality as adaptable, warm, and enthusiastic. I recently graduated from Pacific Lutheran University with a bachelors of arts in elementary education with endorsements in reading and ELL (as well as a minor in sociology). I have experience teaching K-5 students in all subject areas in local public schools in the Clover Park School District, but a majority of my experience is working with 5th graders. Children's creativity and kindness never fail to amaze me. I'm looking for a job that will provide me with an opportunity to combine my teaching and tutoring experience with child care. I am looking for a part time position to work for 6-8 months until I begin full time teaching in an elementary classroom this fall. I have experience working with kids for over 10 years including babysitting, summer camp counseling , private tutoring, and teaching.
