Hanna worked for us a month before her college classes started. She was open and honest about her classes and even recruited her sister to help babysit on says where Hanna had live class. Hanna's sister worked for us on a Tuesday which seemed to have no issues. Tuesday night we contacted Hanna to confirm her start time on Wednesday. Hanna responded ok. Then Wednesday morning 10 min before I'm supposed to leave for work sends a text saying "I'm sorry. We are done. I won't be able to make it in today either." I had to call out of work explaining the late call out to my manager and as of now I'm struggling to return to work, due to lack of childcare since Hanna didn't give notice she would be quitting! I may even be forced to take a leave of absence from my job without pay bc of her actions!
