About Hannah

I am a creative, energetic, and adventurous person. I like tutoring because I am able to meet the academic needs of a child through targeted instruction. By administering various assessment strategies, I am able to understand a child's strengths and needs. I can gear my time to focus on areas of growth in Math or Literacy and help them incorporate strategies to solve new problems or tackle new skills. I'm looking for a job that requires at least 1-3 hours per week, during the day, during summer months. I started tutoring about 7 years ago when I went into the teaching profession. In my spare time, I like to travel, spend time with family and friends, read, swim, and cook! I am fun, flexible, and will make very productive use of my time when entrusted to your child's emotional and academic progress! My skills include providing enrichment activities, helping your child read fluently, comprehending grade level texts, and honing in on the semantics and syntax of writing.
