About Heather

Hi, I am a special education teacher at an elementary school in The Woodlands. Teaching special education for the last 16 years has been my career, which I love! I have my Master's degree in Elementary Education and have been trained in dyslexia intervention. I have raised three beautiful daughters that are now young adults. In addition to teaching I also worked as a Behavior Interventionist, working with children with autism. I love working with children of all ages and am available late afternoon/evenings after school, anytime during the weekends as well as all school holidays and summer break. I'd describe my personality as patient, kind, calm. In my spare time, I like to read, go for a run, garden, hike, walk my dogs. One thing you should know about me is I am very patient and love working with kids of all ages and abilities. I really love working as a teacher. I enjoy being active and keeping kids engaged in ways that don't involve lots of screen time.

Heather has been a Nanny for my 2 and 3 year old boys for over half a year now. She's an exceptional care giver and will go above and beyond for your children (and you). She has extensive experience in childcare and education and it shows in all she does. My boys absolutely LOVE her, and so do I!!! Her patience is exceptional and she will go above and beyond for your family (it's in her nature). I cannot say enough good things about her!! We will miss her soooooo much when we move!
