About Heather

I'd describe my personality as being a very empathetic and positive person. I am also very caring and concerned about the well-being of others. I like caring for seniors because it gives me a sense of purpose. I have patience and understanding. I am sensitive to where they are in their life making a happy and easy transition into the next chapter of life. I'm looking for a job that provides me purpose and to walk away at the end of the day, knowing that I have put a smile on someone's face and helped them with whatever it may be. I started caring for seniors when I started seeing the deterioration of my grandpa's health. He had to go into an assisted living. I am sensitive to the challenges seniors face physically and mentally. In my spare time, I spend time with family and friends. I am a mom of two daughters, 19 &23. My skills include running errands, help prepare meals, laundry, light cleaning of the house. Take them to doctor's appointments, etc.
