About Heather

Hello my name is Heather. Thank you for visiting my page. I have been a caregiver "helper" for many years. Work experience I have had: being a companion/nanny to an infant & toddler with severe food allergies, a certified early education teacher/substitute kindergarten teacher within a preschool/daycare, a lifeguard/ counselor at a children's summer camp, dance teacher/choreographer ages 2 to 16, a caregiver to an infant as I was a stay at home mom to my two young daughters, Child Life Specialist within hospital setting, paraprofessional with children on the spectrum as well as severely emotionally challenged. Qualities that I value are kindness, compassion, humor, respect, dependable, attentiveness, connections, patience, boundaries, communication in all forms, play, learning & growing. I believe in the body, mind & spirit connection & that every individual has a uniqueness, a light & purpose. Seeking to provide care to nurture a individual(s) growth as well as supporting the family.
