About Heather M

Hi! My name is Heather. I am a 42-year-old female that has worked with children and adolescents of all ages. Prior to my education at Colorado State University, I have done numerous babysitting positions. In college, I worked four years as a nanny for a wonderful family. I graduated from CSU in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Youth Development and Early Childhood courses. I worked as an intern at CSU's Early Childhood Center, in addition to completing my internship as a Deputy Probation officer with Juveniles. I moved to Denver after I graduated to work for 10 years at Denver Children's Home as a Youth Treatment Counselor with adolescents from the ages of 11-18. After my niece and nephew were born, I moved back to Fort Collins to be closer to them. I am currently a nanny of a family with four kids ages 7-11. I have been with this family for 10+ years. I am passionate about working with all ages to foster critical emotional, cognitive, and social development.
