About Heidi

I am currently a 29-year-old new mommy, but I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old. I started by babysitting my neighbor's 5 children when I was 14. I continued to babysit all throughout high school, and college. Throughout that time, I took care of children from multiple different families ranging from newborn to tweens. I have some experience caring for autistic children as well. I am now a registered nurse who is CPR certified. I currently work at a drug and alcohol detox/and rehab and have the privilege of working with adolescents with behavioral issues and substance use disorders. I believe in giving children my undivided attention when they are under my care and supervision. I like to immerse myself into their world, whether it be getting on the floor and playing with a baby, playing pretend, going outside for fresh air, or sitting at the table and helping with homework.
