About Heidi

I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, empathetic I like caring for seniors because I feel as though I can help them maintain their dignity. I'm looking for a job that brings a sense of joy, belonging, and dignity to those in my care. I started caring for seniors when I was in college. My grandmother was diagnosed with cancer, and I moved into her home to help with her activities of daily living. I continued my passion for caring for seniors when I became a RN in 2021. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I have a lot of integrity. I ALWAYS make an effort to do the right thing, even if no one is watching. My skills include bathing, feeding, and cleaning for seniors. For a lot of seniors it can be embarrassing to rely on someone else to assist them with basic daily needs. My experience has taught me how to approach these situations in a way that alleviates some of that embarrassment.
