About Ilyse

Hi, I'm Ilyse! I'm an art teacher, nanny, & freelance artist (think cartoons) with a BA in English Literature. Babysitting has always been a part of me, whether it was on the playground, Sunday school, or in my neighborhood. From age 12 onward I've nannied & tutored, only pausing to go to university & pursue my career as an artist & writer. In 2019 I got back into it, & my passion for childcare and teaching has only continued to grow since! I'm new to Denver and looking to work with new families! My experience is with ages 2-18. I have worked with special needs children in a daycare setting in which I was acknowledged for outstanding childcare (Kindergarten & preschool age). My most recent family was military with 3 children (10, 12, 15), so I'm used to meal prep, chore/homework time, & driving kids to & fro when it comes to extracurriculars. I'm very active, flexible with hours, & I'm happy to handle tutoring & light housework as well! Hablo español un poco si necesitado también!
