I just had a baby girl this past June and this autumn I am feeling ready to take on a nanny family for one child around similar age to my daughter. I would love to host at our apartment activities and a daily rhythm appropriate for infants. I have wooden toys, silks and other age appropriate toys. I'm also willing to pick up/drop off for the right family should that be helpful. My passion is Early Childhood Education and care. I come from a performing arts background and found myself working alongside babies to teenagers in dance, music and theatre. Once I found my love for teaching I went back to school and received an AS in Early Childhood Education from Borough of Manhattan CC. Since then I have worked at preschools, daycares, ran my own playgroups as well as short/long term nanny work for private families. On our vacation to Taos Ski Mountain we hired Isabel to care for our 16 month old and 3 year old. She communicated clearly in advance her availability, was flexible as we better figured out times that worked best with our schedule, and was always timely. She clearly had experience in childcare, not merely caring for our kids but coming up with activities and following our requests to a t. She logged their day and shared it with us, took pictures so we felt connected, and safely drove our kids to the mountain to meet us each day. I would highly recommend her!
