About Isabel

I'd describe my personality as patient, gentle, and energetic. I like working with kids because they are curious and spark joy in others. I'm looking for a job that is no more than 8hrs/wk. I work best with children who are respectful, good listeners, and honest. I started working with kids when I was in high school as a camp counselor for two years. I also periodically baby sat for my neighborhood in high school and college. I am a recent law graduate who wants to do more for my community before starting my legal career through childcare. Babysitting is not my full-time profession, but I love and work well with children. My skills include understanding a child's short attention span. I recognize when a child needs alternative ways to stimulate the brain. I believe it's important to make children feel seen and heard. When I first meet children, I ensure to speak to them at eye level to establish trust and respect. I do my best to adapt to every child's unique wants and needs.
