About Jaira

I'm Jaira! I'm an Austin native and for the last school year I worked part time as an after school teacher (Pre-K & Kinder). After the school year ended I began nannying full time. I'm high energy, very playful, and spend most of my free time outdoors! Coming from a big family and close-knit community, has made me pretty good with kids naturally. My teaching experience helped me to better develop that naturalness into a skill. I learned how to help kids grow and develop healthy boundaries and positive mindsets. I am very patient and can connect well with all kinds of kids. Connection/building a relationship is what I have learned is the foundation of providing the best childcare possible. I will always strive to build and maintain the trust of your child and most importantly of you, the parents! Outside of childcare I have many years of house/pet sitting experience. I am currently nannying full time for a family, but I am looking for one-time jobs for when they are away!
