My caring for pets (cats and dogs) spans 4 decades, both in the USA and abroad. For 8. 5 years I cared for 4 dogs (3 Standard Poodles and 1 Whippet) full-time for a family in Manhattan. Since I have relocated to the Hudson Valley in 2007, I have cared for 2 dogs and 5 cats off and on over the years for a family in Kingston in their home. Caring for dogs of all sizes, which includes exercising, bathing and grooming, has been part of my decades long experience. One of the dogs in my care had Lyme's Disease and I administered shots and medication to him on a daily basis. I took my owner's pets to the vets when necessary, for check-ups and in emergencies. I have always loved caring for animals, including my own pets, both dogs and cats. I look forward to meeting and caring for yours. I am willing to care for farm animal and horses, although my experience with them is limited, but not altogether unfamiliar.
