I recently moved to Brooklyn from CA. I currently work for a local public high school. I am looking for a position that works with my school hours (starting around 4/5 pm). I am open to tutoring, coaching, nannying, etc. I am passionate about working with families while learning about my new community. I am a credentialed and tenured secondary Social Science and English teacher with an additional ELD certification. I just finished my 4th year as an 8th grade ELA/ History CORE and Media/Publications teacher. In high school, I passed 5 AP tests including biology, government, language and composition, psychology, and statistics. I am well rounded in tutoring any subject or helping with college applications/ essays. I have worked as a swim and track coach for rec and competitive swimmers ages 4-18 for 10 years. I was a D1 water polo player and rower SDSU where I graduated in 3 years. I am CPR certified and have extensive knowledge on water safety.
