About Jane

Hello! I have 10+ years of experience working with children of all ages, and I am looking for a full or part-time position as child caretaker. I moved to Rochester 3 years ago from Denver, CO to pursue a graduate degree at the University of Rochester. In Denver, I worked as a middle school teacher for several years and then as a full-time nanny for two families. Before that, I spent 6 summers as a camp counselor at a wilderness adventure camp for girls ages 8-16, where I was responsible for 6-15 girls during 2-4 week periods. I also worked as a group leader for YMCA Camp Hayo-Went-Ha in their Fall/Winter/Spring outdoor education program and as the director of their counselor-in-training program. I have a Master of Education from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Master of English from the U of R. I am CPR certified and First Aid trained through the Red Cross. I love animals of all kinds, being outdoors, running, and reading. I look forward to working with you!
