About Janet

I am an experienced special education teacher who has worked with students at the elementary and middle school levels for the past 20 years. I am caring and compassionate with students, but also able to establish the structure and routine that some students need, to learn. I believe that all students can learn and make it my personal challenge each day (through my students at work as well as those I tutor) to find ways that make learning fun, interesting and relevant. I am certified in Infant, Child and Adult CPR/First Aid and use of an AED. I am also trained in use of an Epi-Pen. I'm also the owner of 2 cats, a rabbit, a guinea pig and a fish. I have had experience with dogs as well. I am available for pet sitting, dog walks, etc. I have experience giving oral and topical medications as well as injections.
