I have several years experience working with the elderly. I spent 18 months caring for my own parents. This entailed preparing meals and taking them to their appointments. I also kept track of their medications making sure they had their refills on time. For three years, I worked independently for two families. I did light housekeeping, prepared meals and assisted my clients with hygiene and bedtime activities. It is a pleasure serving this people group. After interviewing 5 individuals, we hired 2 caregivers for alternate days during the week---Janet and Rebekah! In fact, this was Jan's idea. Janet and Rebekah connected with each other from the start, and set up their schedules together, and then gave a copy to me and to my mother. Both are professional and very caring. Mom and I both look forward to their continued care for my mother. I will most certainly keep you posted! :-)
