I was a primary caregiver for my mother-in-law for 6 months while she was in the last stages of ALS (Lou Gehrigs Disease). I fed her through a feeding tube and assisted her with all of her needs. Also, I was my dads backup caregiver for 6 years. He had Alzheimer's Disease. I gave 24 hour care to both of them. My dad was also diabetic. I checked his blood and gave him insulin injections. I recently cared for an 87-year-old gentleman who has Alzheimer's. I have very good common sense and get along well with most people. I love baseball and I am an avid Dodger fan. I love to watch movies, read, travel, and I'm a grandma to 2 boys and twins on the way.
