I have worked with children numerous times. Since I was 13, I have babysat my cousins. Those were three cousins, one was 1-year-old, second was 4 years old, and the third was 7 years old. I also babysit my niece and nephews right now aged; 3 months, 1-year-old, 3-year-old, and 5-year-old. I cooked for them and cleaned up after them. I basically did everything that was required to take care of children for 2 hours to sometimes the whole day. I have volunteered at a Get Up & Go Program and a camp. The Get Up & Go Program was for over a year and required me to run a class of 10 children that were aged between 7 to 10. I had to teach them exercise and motivate them to be active. The camp I volunteered at was a religious camp and there were children from 3 years old to 16 years old. I monitored the children, checked whether they did the activities, and served them lunch. Currently, I am interning at Naugatuck Youth Services as a case manager and my clients are usually in middle school.
