About Jasmine

Hi! My name is Jasmine and I am 20 years old. I am a rising senior at Yale studying Neuroscience and French. I am originally from New Haven, but will be an intern in New York this summer, living in Brooklyn, and am looking for part time work from June to August. I love working with children. It is such an exciting privilege to establish connections with them and learn with them. In high school I tutored 2nd and 3rd graders in math, reading, and writing. I also spent two summers as a camp counselor, developing and implementing reading and writing curriculum along with fun activities for 9 and 10-year-olds. In college, I am a student teaching assistant on the threes floor of the nationally-accredited Calvin Hill Daycare in New Haven, helping facilitate their daily activities including reading and enrichment activities. It is one of my great pleasures to spend time with children and facilitate their learning and fun!
