Hello! Experienced nanny/care provider here! I babysat for friends and family for 7 years after receiving my Red Cross Babysitter Certification at age 16 (I'm now 26). Then I was hired at the YMCA as an after school care provider where I cared for about 30 elementary age kids at a time, for 2 years. I was also furthering my education at Southern Oregon University in Elementary Education at this time. For the last year and a half I have been a nanny for a family with a 1-year-old child. My favorite things about working with kids are making art projects (they're the best at that!), being in nature, and treating them like a friend while still being an authority figure. If you were to ask my friends to describe me in a few words they would say I'm genuine, curious, honest, dependable, and all around just a good person. In our experience it's difficult to find 'the one' employee who checks all the boxes. Jenna checked them all and came to feel like a member of the family for us. She's cool under pressure, was always considerate, reliable and never complained even under difficult circumstances. She was always on-task and never on her phone. A very conscientious person. Of all the people we've hired over the years, there's no one we'd trust more than Jenna C.
