About Jenna

Animals have always been a part of my life. When I was born, we had two cats and later got a rabbit. In the last five years, I have spent more time with dogs, which I love! I am currently registered as a volunteer with Guide dogs. In fact, our family has decided to do foster care for Guide dogs on a short-term basis. For the past five years, I have helped neighbors, walking and running their dogs, as well as pet-sitting in my home for up to three weeks at a time. I have also checked on the neighbor's cats when they are away, feeding and spending time with them, as needed. I took care of a Lab who had cancer for the last year she was alive. Her owner could not care for her, as he had lost his wife in a tragic accident. I still miss her. Please consider me for your pet care needs. I take care of several rescue animals, some that have been abandoned or abused. I also have experience with handicap animals. I've been taking care of a Bernese Mountain for over 4 years that has had 3 surgeries for his hip and I've taken care of him each time him wearing a harness and giving medication to him with a meal. I have experience giving insulin shots. I've been giving an insulin shot to a diabetic cat on a regular basis.
