About Jennifer

Hello! My name is Jennifer. I have worked in many different childcare settings for the past eight years. I enjoy getting to work with kids of all ages and backgrounds. I formally started babysitting in a church capacity, but have enjoyed learning more about diverse experiences through my student teaching sites and within the communities I have worked with. I have experience in working with students with disabilities, children with visual impairments, and kids of all ages ranging from preschool through high school. I believe in fostering a nurturing environment where children feel safe, respected, and encouraged. I have been described as patient, friendly, and approachable which allows me to build strong relationships with both children and parents. I prioritize open communication and follow the parents' preferred method to provide regular updates about their child's day or any matters that arise.
