About Jennifer

I am a teacher with a masters in special education K-12. My teaching and tutoring experience includes HS: Algebra, Geometry, English, history, SPED; college: English, philosophy, history, mathematics, speech; middle school: all subjects, and study skills. Elementary: fundamental reading and math/special education intervention using specialized curriculum and research-proven teach methods; test prep: ACT, GED, and SAT general test prep. I am a very patient teacher who likes to make learning easy and fun. I break down the information to manageable parts and teach students to check their own work so they can catch mistakes. I like to use manipulative and other hands-on techniques, as well as visuals such as fun videos to demonstrate how to do the skills we are working on. I have a flexible schedule and am also seeking to tutor home-schooled students. I'd love to talk with you about how I can help your child succeed!
