About Jennifer

Caring for children personally involves fostering a loving and supportive environment in which they can thrive. This includes understanding their unique needs, nurturing their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth, while promoting a safe - healthy environment. Building a connection is important because it strengthen the bond allowing opportunities for lifelong learning and development. One of my personal experiences caring for children was during my summer break when I worked as a camp counselor at the YMCA. I was responsible for a group of 8-10-year-olds. I planned and led various activities, from arts and crafts to outdoor games, and ensured their safety and well-being. It was incredibly rewarding to see the children grow and build new friendships while having a lot of fun. This experience taught me the importance of patience, effective communication, and adaptability when caring for children, and it deepened my appreciation for their unique personalities and needs.
