About Jennifer

I am interested in obtaining a part-time nanny position. I have 28 years experience caring for children in a variety of settings. For the past 6 years, I have worked as a nanny, providing in-home care for children ranging in age from birth to 15 years. In addition to developing activities that foster independence and promote a sense of self, I have provided transportation for children to school and activities and accompanied families on travel. I have worked in Head Start, Daycare, and Montessori school programs. I am a trained and certified Montessori teacher and was formerly employed as a head teacher for a Montessori preschool. Additionally, I served as head teacher for a large urban daycare program. In addition to my formal education, I have successfully completed numerous trainings and seminars in infant and child CPR/First Aid, medication administration, health and nutrition, music and literacy, creative curriculum and teaching strategies. I am sincere and gentle.
