About Jenny

Hi! I have a BFA in Graphic Design from the Savannah College of Art & Design. I grew up in West Hartford, CT. I'm the eldest in a big family with a lot of little cousins, nieces & nephews, all of whom I have spent a lot of time caring for. In addition, I have 10+ years experience babysitting, including regular babysitting jobs, & overnights. I also have experience working with children while teaching Sunday school & life guarding. I'm a dog mom to Poppy, an active 4-year-old puppy. So I'm comfortable around pets as well. I'm a nurturing & caring person who loves working with children. Since moving back to CT, I have been babysitting in between design jobs, & realized that I thrive when working with children & want to pursue more work in childcare. When babysitting, I strive to make the time together as enriching and fulfilling as possible for the child. I love to work on homework problems, do art projects, play games and work on life skills. Jenny is reliable and punctual. She always comes over with things for my kids to do with her while I'm gone. She engages with the kids and doesn't rely on the TV to keep them busy. This unfortunately is not the norm anymore it seems! I also come home to a clean house and dishes put away. I've had many sitters with my 5 kids and I can say easily Jenny is the best sitter I've had for my kids. My twins both were asked what they think of jennt and their response was she's "very nice, she takes of us and she loves us. She even takes care of Donut (our dog)"
