About Jessica

Hi there! My name is Jess and I have 3 years of experience as a teaching assistant for 2-year-olds to 5-year-olds and 2 1/2 years of experience as a nanny for kids ranging in age from 16 months to 12 years old. I help kids with crafts, play outside with them, teach them kindness towards each other and am there to help resolve any issues that came up. I can care for kids independently or in tandem with the parent(s). I try to stick as closely as possible to the routine that parent(s)/ caregivers have set up. I can help with homework, pick up/drop off, light housework and cooking. I try my best to provide a kind, nurturing, structured and playful environment for the kids. I have recently transitioned out of the full time corporate world after graduating from CSUF in 2021 upon realizing it wasn't what I loved. I am excited to get back into childcare and be able to help kids learn emotional literacy, how to express themselves, celebrate their wins and help them through tough moments.
