I'd describe my personality as empathetic, caring, and positive. I like caring for seniors because I learned at a young age how to talk with elderly, and patience is key. I like caring for children because I was a single mother for many years and know the challenges of parenting. I'm looking for a job that is beneficial to my health. Something I enjoy and look forward to learning new things. I started caring for seniors when I was young. I watched my grandmother volunteer at VFW, my step mother was a chef at retirement home. I worked as a waitress at another retirement home. In my spare time, I like to volunteer at events in community, and spend time with my family. One thing you should know about me is I treat others the way I would want someone to treat my own family. I have an understanding that elders just want to be heard, cared for, and have companionship. My skills include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship.
