About Jessica

Hello! My name is Jessica B. and I am 27 years old from Illinois. I moved to Houston about 4 years ago and absolutely love it. I graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor's in Science concentrating in family services and a minor in sociology. My experience with childcare started when I was 14 years old, babysitting for family and family friends throughout high school. Once I went to college, I took courses in child development, family relationships, child behavior as well as a course working in the child development lab with children aged 2-4. Once I graduated, I took an internship in Chicago working at an early childhood daycare gaining experience under the director. When I moved to Houston I obtained another internship with a non profit for a few months. I then worked as an office manager at an early childhood education school in downtown Houston for 2 1/2 years where I obtained a lot of knowledge and hands on experience with children.
