About Jessica

I am an adolescent Montessori educator with a love for the full force passion of teens and tweens! I have taught mathematics, foreign language, writing, history and science. I have a scientific mind and utilize the scientific method of observation to hone in best ways to engage whoever I'm helping learn. I'm enthusiastic, patient, & ridiculously funny Working one-on-one or in small groups is more thorough and engaging than a large classroom setting It's easier to make adjustments and try personalized ideas this way In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with my dog, going to chess club, writing short stories and making short stop-motion movies (I'm terrible at it but it's fun!) One thing you should know about me is that I don't give up easily. The more challenging a student, the more interested I become. My skills include differentiation, light heartedness and knowing when to push or when to back off and come back later.
