I've cared for friends' and neighbors' pets while they were away. I have three dogs and six cats of my own. One of my dogs has seizures and so I am very comfortable handling meds and administering Valium (anally) whenever he has trouble. The other two dogs go to the dog park four or five times a week, and so I am comfortable taking dogs there, depending on the behavior of the dog. Our cats are indoor/outdoor. Their needs are simple (litter box, some medications, grooming).
