About Jessica

Working with children is one of the most rewarding parts of my life. In my nannying positions I found the bonds created between myself, the children and the families to be incredibly meaningful. In my educating positions I have the privilege of watching students absorb the world around them, build social skills and their independence. I started working with kids in 2011 when I was in high school, though I knew it was my passion much earlier! My skills include -Fostering children's innate love of learning. Supporting them in exploring their curiosities and introducing them to new ideas and concepts. -Redirecting 'negative' behaviors in a productive and healthy way. -Helping children develop skills of emotional regulation, independence and respecting themselves and others. -Strong classroom supervision and time management skills.
