About Jessica

I'd describe my personality as fun, patient, and energetic. I like working with kids because I enjoy seeing them develop and learn what they are passionate about. I'm looking for a job that is consistent and allows me to create a safe and fun environment. I wish to continue being a homeschool mom. I started working with kids at age 13 as a babysitter. I worked in 2 daycares during college, and nannied for 5 families full-time over a 7 year period. I am now a homeschooling mother of 4. In my spare time, I enjoy family board games, all outside activities with my husband and kids. I really enjoy all types of crafting, as well as reading. One thing you should know about me is that I may seem quiet, but I am often just listening. I try to make my words count, and give others around me the time to speak. My skills include early childhood development, teaching children to respect themselves and others, and teaching children to be caring and compassionate.
