I am a retired mom or 4 and proud grandmother of 3 sweeties. I ove working with children and elders. I was a companion for an elderly couple for two summers on Squam Lake. The husband had Parkinson's disease so I sometimes had to help him dress and eat. I cooked, shopped, did light house cleaning, and drove them to appointments. We developed a wonderful connection. I also had a job for a company and drove people to appointments . I ended up becoming a companion for one woman with Alzheimer's. I would take her for coffee or to swim in a pool. Taking her to lunch was one of my favorite activities. I also cared for my mother in law who was 82 and had dementia. I helped her with organizing, took her to appointments, and cooked for her. I would have to say that I am very patient, kind, quiet, and I can cook, yet I do have a good sense of humor. I can provide references if needed. If you're interested I'd love to chat! Thank you.
