About Jocelyn

I'd describe my personality as patient, compassionate, and energetic! I like working with kids because I genuinely enjoy helping children reach important milestones, both personally and developmentally. I'm looking for a job that allows me the ability to connect with the families I am helping. I grew up helping my mom at the preschool she worked for. I then went on to be a babysitter and lifeguard from the age of 15 and eventually became a swim instructor. I have been coaching children ages 2+ for almost 4 years, specializing in children with anxiety and special needs. In my spare time, I enjoy being on the Texas State University swim team and triathlon team, where I live an active lifestyle. My skills include being able to help with homework, my creative games, and my patience for those around me.
