About Jonathan

I've been teaching professionally since the age of 15. Growing up, I would often be a second nucleus in the classroom around which others would gather in order to understand the material. Test prep is my forte. I scored a 35 on the ACT and have helped many others excel in Math and English. Other subjects I've taught include computer literacy, graphic design, and chess. I was recruited to teach chess full time in New York, which I'm eternally grateful for. I met many wonderful people along that journey. I have 4 years of experience working with children who are overcoming difficulties. My accolades include presenting my solution to a particularly difficult problem at the 50th annual UCSD Math Contest Awards Banquet and writing an essay in college that was so eloquent my teacher manually flagged it as plagiarized.
