About Jonathan

I have been a special education teacher working with students in the special need and general population for over 10 years. I supported students with mild through severe differing ability levels. I co-taught in English in high school, but my service worked with students that were at least one grade below their academic age. I have also coached athletics, which was beneficial when working with active students. As always, parents/guardians are a priority of mine. Therefore, a student's home life is always included during every step of the way while working together so the whole student is worked with. I have been an advocate during IEP team meetings, led the meetings as on-site staff. I can most certainly work with you and your son/daughter during an evaluation period to identify if qualification for an IEP are met, pre and post IEP Team meeting support, and be in-person for the meeting, itself. I have an Education Specialist Teaching Credential (CA) and an M. A. in Special Education.
