About Jordan

I started working with children in a professional setting in 2012 while volunteering at a pre-school twice a week for 6 months. Later on, I trained as a C. I. T. with Newtown Parks and Recreation to then become a camp counselor for the summers of 2019 and 2020. I worked 5 times a week, mainly with a group of 7 to 10-year-old boys. During my 2019 to 2021 college school years, I babysat for two school administrators, one having an 8-year-old boy, and the other, a 10-year-old girl. After receiving my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology in May of 2022, I started as a full time Behavior Therapist with Aspire: Living & Learning. With this position, I administered the Behavior Intervention Plans of special need students, helped them reach academic goals, redirect unsafe behaviors, and provide emotional care and support during moments of distress. With this position I received training that I was able to put into practice on how to support children fully, ethically, and compassionately.
