About Jose

Hello I am Jose but go by Josie. Although I do not have professional caregiving experience I would like to share why I am confident in being given an opportunity to care for children. I love being around kids, Growing up I always wanted to help care for the younger kids in my family trying to contribute to their safety and development. I have always gravitated towards kids and babies because seeing a baby smile or hearing a kid laugh makes me so emotional and filled with joy. I currently live at home with my parents. I have 2 younger sisters whom I help out with by driving one to and from school and staying home to help my mom with the toddler. I currently work but want to do something I am passionate about. I personally think I connect with kids very easily even the shy ones. I am bilingual (English & Spanish) I have my drivers license. Being home I have learned what foods and activities are good and safe for toddlers. I am organized and have great communication skills.
