About Joshua

I am a graduate student at the Columbia University School of Journalism with a great deal of experience in childcare. Last fall and spring, I was a nanny and tutor for a middle-school aged boy on the Upper East Side, so I understand the unique challenges of childcare in the city. In high school, I worked as a summer camp counselor at an overnight YMCA camp and this past summer I worked as a Youth Programs supervisor for the Multnomah Athletic Club in Portland, OR. In both of these positions I was responsible for providing personalized, safe, and fun care for hundreds of kids, with a focus in providing care for 3 to 5-year-olds. I feel comfortable caring for children of all needs and abilities. I love working with kids and understand that part-time childhood care is an incredibly important responsibility. I am available to travel anywhere within Manhattan or Brooklyn.
