I am currently a stay at home mom that is engaged in the arts and health & wellness. I have only held one long term pet-sitting position but the owner is now deceased so I am able to list him as a reference. He was transitioning to Belize and decided to live his dog behind in New Orleans. She was a super sweet German Shepard that did her job to guard the home well. I have learned this immediately on the first day. I am petite and was initially intimidated but things worked out once the dominance was secured. I am comfortable with dogs and cats but may need to bring my 2-year-old son at times. I don't have experience cat-sitting but had a feral cat as a pet for over 15 years.
