About Julia

Hello! My name is Julia, and I would love to work with you and your family! I am currently in graduate school for Art Therapy and Counseling at the School of Art Institute of Chicago. I have 7 years of professional experience working with children. Last summer I worked as a head counselor at Kid Create Studio in Lakeview. I am hoping to transition to babysitting/nannying to develop a strong relationship with a family! Prior to beginning my graduate degree, I nannied long term (4 years), for a wonderful family. Because of my background, I hope to work with a family who values creativity and making/playing. In my nannying, I strive to incorporate art making and crafts into my daily interactions with the kids I am working with. Aside from creating and making, I can help with house tasks- laundry, tidying up, errands, car pooling, etc.
