About Julia

Hello parents and students! I am a current elementary school teacher who is completing my literacy specialist masters degree at Montclair State University. I am a passionate educator who strives to develop a love for learning and a love for reading within her students. I work with your child to identify specific areas of difficulty in reading and create an intervention program that is fun and effective. With engaging lessons and creative methods for teaching specific reading skills, your child will have the opportunity to grow and learn. I am also available to work with students to improve their math skills. I have multiple years of experience tutoring elementary level math and provide your child with an understanding behind math rather than basic memorization. I have an immense love for what I do and strive to create improvements that both your child and you will be able to see!
