About Julia

I have a strong background in behavioral therapy, teaching, tutoring, and nannying. As a nanny for over 5 years, I worked with children ranging from infancy to young adulthood. My responsibilities included implementing daily routines suggested by parents, overseeing feeding and hygiene procedures, helping with school work/ cognitive activities, and utilizing positive reinforcement to decrease problematic behavior. Additionally, I have experience working with multiple students from the ages of 6 months to 13 years in school settings, tutoring older elementary students, and almost two years of experience working as a Behavioral technician. In these roles, I worked in challenging settings and with challenging behaviors all while implementing behavioral plans/ lesson plans and facilitating peer interaction.
