I am CPR and AED certified. I worked for two summers as a sleep-away camp counselor for the YMCA working with kids from all different backgrounds, ranging in age from 6-17. I also volunteered for the YMCA for four years in the infant and toddler rooms. During my time at the YMCA I worked with kids with that had a variety of special needs or disabilities. I am a certified lifeguard/swim instructor and love teaching kids how to swim. Beyond kids just having the skill to swim I think it is extremely important because it is a life-saving skill. I am cruelty pursuing a degree in Child Psychology and Creative Arts Rehabilitation with the intent to go into counseling.
