Growing up I helped raise my 7 nieces and nephews. My mother was also an instructional aid for autistic children, which I would volunteer my time over summer breaks to help. I've worked for First Baptist Head Start in both Pittsburg and Antioch as a pre-school assistant. I now have 2 little girls. One with autism, one without and I have my bachelors in social work and my masters degree in special education. I am a full-time teacher for Contra Costa county of education and severe through fifth grade class. I am looking for a second job as children are my passion, however, teacher does not pay quite enough. I am hopeful my two little ones will be able to join in as well.
