Hello I'm Julie! I have had the pleasure of working with children for the last 25 years in various settings; these include traditional schools, craft workshops and as a nanny. I am a very patient and nurturing person who embraces each child's unique personality and abilities. Having worked in both pre-schools and elementary schools I gained lots of experience with the Montessori method as well as teaching phonics and reading skills to children of all ages. Keeping children in a safe environment is of upmost importance to me and I have participated in various pediatric first aid courses. I have travelled quite a lot and love learning about other cultures. I have three grown children of my own and I'm British.

We visited Miami and found Julie as a last minute option when another sitter we had cancelled. Julie is prompt, warm and helped our toddler settle in after a long day of travel. I would absolutely recommend Julie to another family and hope to use her again on return trips.
